About Me:

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as your child's elementary school counselor. I am excited to start my seventh year here at Poteet Elementary for the 2023-2024 school year. I will be working closely with all the students in areas of social-emotional learning, personal awareness, and academic development. My role is to create a safe and nurturing environment for each and every student. I look forward to working with the students, parents, faculty, and staff members. What made me go in to counseling?

The reason I became a school counselor was that I have a strong desire to help others. It is rewarding to create positive changes in the lives of others. It is my passion to maximize student success in order for all students to recognize and make the best of their abilities.
