As the Principal, I am honored to have the opportunity to serve the students, families and staff at
Poteet Elementary. I am committed to providing the best possible environment for our students as
they begin their foundation of their educational journey.
A little background on myself, I graduated from UTSA with a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary
Studies and a master’s degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University. I began my
career at Poteet ISD as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher in 2004. Throughout my journey here in Poteet I
have been a teacher, counselor, instructional specialist, Assistant Principal and most currently a
Principal here at Poteet Elementary since 2018. I am married and have 2 children that are PoteetAggies!

I believe that our parents and community are our partners in continuing our mission of meeting the
individual learning needs of each student. For the 2022-2023 school year, we are looking forward
to a “Surfing the Waves of Success” here at Poteet Elementary!
